NBH ONE95 Blade

Recommended Posts

Happy Holidays everyone. I searched to no avail for the answer to this question. Does anyone have any experience with the NBH One95 Blades. I got one for Christmas and I am debating on exchanging it for my usual Easton S15 or giving it a try. The lie and curve are a perfect clone of what I use, so that's not the issue. I'm more interested in its stiffness, wear/durability (I realize this is a relatively new product), feel and any other characteristics you may feel important.

From straight asthetics, it looks great and feels stiff while not mounted to a shaft. As this is standard, I will be mounting it to my standard RBK 6k shaft if that helps out at all. I know it's old school, but it's the only standard shaft I have at the moment, and as I was gifted several of them and they last me a long time. Thanks in advance. I look forward to some good responses.

I thought the the blade on my One95 OPS was much much stiffer... and is way more durable and structurally a better design. I owned a bunch of One90's and a few One95's and the blades on each of the sticks don't even compare as far as feel and durability... I have 4 One95 OPS' (they went on sale for 2 for 300$ at my LHS) haha.. but in other words... great blade improvement on the sticks.

From customers I have heard that the feel is really nice on the One95 Blades, durability wise they are much stronger than any of the Easton blades from what I have seen. It's a pretty nice blade in my opinion.

I have a One95 in P91A right now, and coming from using Easton blades (most recently SE blade w/ Drury curve) I have to say the feel is much better in the One95 and I don't sense any loss in stiffness after a few weeks of use. The biggest change I notice is that I felt much more vibration catching passes and taking one-timers with the Easton blades while the NBH blade is much smoother-feeling.

I'm going to keep it. Got some ice time tonight to give it a try...can't wait. Thanks again for your feedback. I soon will have my own feedback.

Any update on how the One95 blade is treating you?

Absolutely. I've used it for about 8-10 games and if I had more standard two piece shafts, I would fill them all with this blade. The feel is fantastic and crisp. There is a definitive feel when the puck is on the heal vs. toe vs. middle of the blade making stick handling great. The stiffness of the blade is as good as I've experienced with any other blade. I am pretty sure this is a big part of why the feel is so good with the blade. Thus far the durability is up to par, but in my opinion it's much too early to determine this. Finally, the weight seems to be okay. I believe my shaft is a touch on the heavy side by todays standards (RBK 6K) so it mates up well to give my application good balance. I hope this was helpful.
