This and the Prospal seem to pop up fairly regularly, I'd love to try it out, but it always hits me as a bad money time and buying stuff from Ebay can be tricky in Canada.

He must have toned down his curve. I remember seeing some regular Synergys of his and the curve was significantly bigger.

Eazy- did you see the seller is from Canada?

If I had the cash lying around I'd be all over that stick...I'm a big Saku fan (hence the avi)...but alas 125 US + S&H (plus exchange) probably won't make my bank book very happy.

If any of the stick hounds around here ever get their hands on one of his and are looking to unload it at a reasonable price give me a hollar...

how do they get the stick?

Other Ebay auctions, sometimes websites sell pro return equipment, generally the teams will have a store that they sell their own GU sticks out of. This guy may just know the equipment manager or even Saku.

Claude Lapointe's curve is fairly close. I think my LHS still has some of his Nike Quest OPSs laying around (260 flex, $130 Canadian)

Thanks jackal, but for me the alure of a stick like that would be that it was Koivu's.

I know there are a few cheaper (as in less expensive) OPS's out there. I saw a Vapor I (I think) at Candian Tire (Hossa pattern) for 99.00 and Walmart has Canadien OPS for 94.99. They are white with black and red graphics...ayone else seen them? These are hardly the most reputable hockey dealers, but hey, its out there if you want it...

what that toe curve good for?

The same thing any other curve is good for. No curve will suddenly give you special powers.
