Non-Bulky Pants with Leg Zippers

Recommended Posts

Thanks in advance for any help....

Does anyone have any recommendations for a non-bulky, falls straight, hockey pant with leg zippers? I have been looking online and it is hard to tell without seeing them in person.

I like the RBK 5K. I hardly notice I'm wearing them, and they've got leg zippers. Zips tend to open a little bit though. May not fall as straight as you'd like though.

+1 for the RBK 5k's. Got them and they were my first pair of hockey pants with zippers. Actually a nice fitted feeling and good price point.

I'd agree with the supreme 70 recomendation but take that a step further to the supreme 50 and maybe even the supreme 30. All have zippers and will be less bulky (ie less protective) than the 70.

Not sure which pant's are going to be streamline like you're saying but I'd avoid the CCM V08's. I just got them and love them but they are definitely not a tight fitting pant. They are however, very protective.

That makes 3 for the Reebok 5k.

I like mine, but just had to stitch the zipper; it had pulled away from the seam.

That's why I HATE mine. I'm looking for pants with no zip. Sorry to highjack the thread but I hate zippers...

The lower end CCM Vector pants are less bulky. Less padding in them. I think it depends on the sizing though. The mediums I tried on were too tight, while the larges were way too big. They're pretty streamlined though, if they fit you correctly.

My Mission Fuel pants aren't very bulky either, and the internal belt makes them fit nicely. They have leg zippers with the curtain to protect your leg a little more when they're open. Only thing that gets annoying is when I have the leg zippers open, the velcro always catches on my socks.

I'm glad you asked this. I might be looking for a pair to replace my Louisville's sometime soon. I don't like bulky pants, and I don't like when there is too much stuff in the front, like a pair of CCM's that I had. Pushes up into my stomach when I am sitting on the bench and annoys the hell out of me.

anyone try the Reebok New 3k pant?

just picked up the new 5k's with the full reebok no rbk, but im coming off a really old school pair of ccm's and feel a bit awkward in the 5k's when sitting on the bench....(the upper thigh caps arre like stabbing my pelvis lol)

got a medium and im 5'9....it says its for 5'5 to 5'11 so i should be good...

wondering if the 3k is less bulky

Supreme One90s. Zipper, not too bulky and very protecttive. If you want to save some change the One70s are only a small step down.

The whole supreme line fits what he's looking for really. And really the vapors to be honest though they'd be a little tighter. I have a pair of XXVs that fit slightly tighter than my old CCM supra (circa 99) pants, and they fit similarly.
