Easton Custom Pro Glove fit?

Recommended Posts

i did a search on this subject but couldn't really seem to find what i was looking for.

i was wondering what the fit of the gloves are like, particularly compared to the 4-roll. are they a loose fit like the 4-roll or a tighter fit like say the warrior franchise narrow? opinions would be appreciated.

i have a pair of easton pro 4 rolls, tried on a pair of NB 4rolls today and i would say they are quite similar, maybe a little looser in the fingers than the NB's

That's because a pro Easton 4-roll in 13" is a 14" glove with a short cuff.

The NBH has more volume, especially when they start to break in.

Exactly. Much more volume in the 4-roll but the Easton has great fingers...they feel broken in when brand new. The biggest issue I had with the Eastons were the cuffs. Way too much wrist restriction for me. Then again, I cut out the entire backend of the cuff of the NBHpro...looks similar to Ovey's gloves, so I still have the front end of the cuff for protection but have great wrist movement.

I've got a 13.5 Easton 4 roll which is low volume, so they are out there. The new SE Pro glove sees lower volume than the old synergy 4 roll.

I honestly dont know how the new E-Pro retail glove fits.

tried on the e-pro a few weeks ago at a lhs, and like several others here, came away quite unimpressed. fits loose in the bulk of the hand and a bit on the restrictive side on the wrists. also has kind of a harsh/hard feel to them, not supple like a 4-roll. the low volume easton 4-roll is what i'm looking for and didn't realize they existed.

These ones are Eric Perrin pro returns. Narrow and fairly snug.

Something to keep in mind, the player's NHL gloves can be customized any number of ways. I've had my hands in two pro stock gloves of comparable length, one fit like a Bauer 4-roll, the other like a Bauer Supreme.

Not well. Nothing like the actual pro gloves.
