epstud and I were having a respectful conversation about our teams, Michigan and Minnesota. I didn't say one unkind word about his team or discount its accomplishments; I just pointed out that the series has been very close for nearly a century.

You're still overreacting. Comparing the records of the last 50 or 75 games makes a lot more sense when you have such long histories to go on, commenting that a large streak from 80 some years ago might be valid, you don't have to get all bunched up about it.

I still think they could draw 50k+ if they hype it enough. Outdoor hockey isnt for everyone, but if they make a nice event out of it, it could draw a lot of people.

I got my tickets and was just thinking about this so I'll give it a little bump.

But it looks like the did their job with over 97,000 tickets sold already.
