Reebok 6K 2009 Helmet

I'm in the market for a new helmet. Anyone wear the Reebok 6k 2009 version? I tried one on today and it was pretty nice, but I'm going to wait to try on the new Bauer 4500 in the next couple weeks as well.

is the new 4500 going to be any different than the current NBH 4500??? I think it will be the same helmet as always, just an updated logo.

Either way I think these helmets are fairly different in fit and shape, so be sure to try them both on.

I did try both on.. I tried on the 6K today..not bad, but I liked the fit of the old NBH 4500. Going to wait until the get them in black though.. All they had left was blue.

Both helmets are the same as last year. The 6k will just say Reebok instead of RBK and the 4500 will say Bauer instead of NikeBauer. Graphics are the only difference.

Are you sure the graphics are the only difference? If thats the case it might be a good move to pick up a 6k from last year on sale...

Actually the only change is a bigger Reebok Logo on the front of the helmet, other than that exactly the same

I have a 09 6K on the way now, when I contacted the support staff at hockeymonkey they told me that there were only two differences, Instead of RBK on the fitclips it says Reebok and the logo on the front is slightly bigger on the 09 model as well.

Go with the 4500, best looking lid in hockey, not a big fan of the rbk helmets, something about there fit i dont like?

Thanks for the semi-official info. I think the changes to the new 09 model def make it more visually appealing, just personal preference though...

I agree! It does look much better with Reebok and the larger symbol... but, as far asI know there are no uprades in protection or fit!
