New Reebok Stick Line

Recommended Posts

Ollie.... since its past the 05/01 "deadline" you mentioned to talk sticks, how about we talk skates ever so briefly - tell your CCM brethren to bring back the Tacks! Classic, simple look, built to last, and fit my fred flintsone feet!

thehockeyshop

they have it at 169.99 u.s.

jeez i thought it was supossed to be a high end stick at an afortable price thats kinda much...

My point about the 8k is that you get a high end performance stick that normally sells for $199 or more, for less than that. If you're looking for a performance stick that retails for less than the 10k and 8k, I highly recommend the 6k.

On that note, have a great summer everyone.

The smyth blade i have also doesnt look like the one pictured above. Good news is that one of the guys at Kyntek hockey broke his Zherdev prostock and sent the blade to have a mold made so there is now a retail toe curve!!!

Thanks for the great information in this thread! I'm sure there are other stick whores who also appreciate the Q&A session. It's nice to have folks like you and the Graf employee on here for help. :) I now have 5 of the Pro Stock 10K's, lol. I think I have a problem...

I'll leave the skate conversation to my colleagues but I'll pass the message along.

not sure if this was mentioned before but I just saw the 6k today and for all those polar fibre and z-tac junkies out there, the 6k is worth taking a look at.

on a side note, the new 10k is pretty sweet. I still see a fuse point however. It's my understanding that the "purefibers" are on the superficial layer of the stick and run all the way down the blade?

saw the 10k today. beautiful. its really a great looking stick. I thought it was wonderfully balanced and very light. really a good job by rbk. I have never been an rbk fan boy but there new sticks are looking really promising.

I saw the 4K, 5k, 6K, 8K and 10K today. These are all very good sticks and reasonably priced. THe 10K is deadly. However, the 4K and 5K were 58" I believe which is too short for me as I'm 6'0. The 6K - 10K were 60". Why is that? Is this a marketing tool or just limited stock at the store?

Thanks Ollie for all the info even with answering the same thing more than once.

The thing i love about my beloved original rbk sickik is that it never lost its pop. I went through 4 and each one was consistent, it always felt the same.

I am 6' tall and I cut my sticks to 51.5-52.5" shaft lengths (~57.5-58.5") and some go even shorter. So, depending on preference it isn't necessarily too short at all. If you like the extra two inches, just throw a wood plug in there and move on. Many prefer the balance and feel with a wood plug anyways. I have seen plenty of folks cut a stick 4" or so and then just to toss a 4" plug in purely for feel.

I noticed on some of the pro stock 10k's that there are some curves marked sk-11 and h-11. Is there a difference between these curves? Also, would you happen to know the specs of them?

Thanks, Ive been looking through here for a while so i figured it was time to contribute lol. H15 is the drury clone however. I have a bunch of the h11's and there sakic clones. i wanted to pick up another one but the only one i can find is an sk11 curve. It looks close from pictures but i just wanted to verify that they were the same before i went ahead and bought it. Thanks for the welcome!
