What kind of tape do you use for your equipment?

my dad just bought m elike 10 rolls of super cheap white cloth tape, and it wears halfway through a game or practice even with ice wax. would black tape be better? btw, whats friction tape for the blade (not grip tape)

handle-24x25 renfrew gold white for knob and grip then i use some 36x13 white to go over top. I do the take the tape and spin it technique but when i do the grip i rip it and use the 36x13 to go over it. I also only have a 1inch knob on the top like from top to bottom but asbout 1.5in thick.

blade-24x25 renfrew gold black tape, ive always used black

shin pads-24x25 white or black renfrew tape.

I'm not sure that black tape is such a good idea for taping the handle of your stick, the chemicals in black tape eat away at the palm of your gloves...

Ideally I like to use blue Powerflex tape for the end and white for the blade. Seeing as I have no Powerflex or white tape, I'm stuck using whatever I can find.
