at the time of the Moore hit, Naslund was, iirc tied if not leading the league in scoring. Anyways, he was never the same after that, and he just got slower every year after the groin problems. Watching him in the playoffs this year just showed to me that he had nothing left. Looks like some players just slow down a lot faster than others.

Ultra, you are right, he was the leading scorer. The reason I remember is Crawford's rant about how the leagues leading scorer shouldn't be allowed to be hit in such a manner. I never understood what the difference was between leading scorer and 4th line scrub, a clean hit is a clean it, and a dirty hit should be punished, no matter who the recipient.
