custom foot bed

Recommended Posts

hi, aside from buying a foot bed from some brands, hv u ever tried to make your own custom foot bed from stock foot bed? meanwhile i've planning on hvng a yellow superfeet, but still i keep looking for a way to customize my ONE75 foot bed. recently im using a support gel that i put on the arch area, where the pain is.

so any share of thoughts? my point of view is, if we can make our own customized footbed, we dont hv to spend money on foot bed products. ^^ but it just my opinion. feel free to share.

I don't think you can, from what I know the footbed from the graf skates, the sidas, is something similar to the superfeet and you can have them custom made, but a footbed from a bauer one75, or a ccm, or any other brand, I don't think it's possible. I tried to make a high arch support to an eva footbed and it put me on my heels, so I had that removed. When I'll buy new skates I'll get a pair of yellow supefeet because I heard only good things about them.

got custom foot beds from a special orthopedic runners store. he also makes the foot beds for our national ski-team...quite thin, a little thicker than my superfeet greys, but very good arch support, special surface against moisture and anti-slip He measured my feet with a '3d holo picture' mash scanner, I had to stand upon, and built those from that...not cheap though...my next are carbons, that are only from heel to midfoot, those are very light and take very little volume off, a bit tricky to get them out after skate...he makes them based on the same data...

The footbeds in the One75 are garbage, so thin and lack any sort of support what so ever.

I'd suggest going to your local sporting goods store and picking up a pair of heat moldable insoles. I picked mine up from The Sports Authority for about $30... this is also the reason why I doubt anyone has modified their footbeds; higher quality ones are so cheap to purchase it's just really not worth it to hack up a stock one.

the custom footbeds from graf are great. i'm not talking about the ones that are already molded. some lhs have a machine where they mold the footbed to your feet. the process takes about 1/2 hr. best investment ever.

I Just got the yellow super feet for my s15's and they are really narrow. The arch support dosent even touch the inside of my skate, and the gap pinches my arch. I wasnt thrilled with them at all. Definatly going to get some heat moldable ones now.

I'm skating on a pair of footbeds from my Asics runners if that counts? They're a bit thicker but I don't like how thin the stock ones are on my Vapors. They're thin to the point where I can feel the rivets with my toes.
