Highlights from Forsberg's first game

Here's a videoclip with highlights from Forsberg's first game with MoDo in Sweden last night (the game vs Brynäs ended with a 3-3 tie), he scored one goal on a nice slapshot, and at the end of the game he received a 2+10 penalty for checking from behind, but this was one of the lamest calls I've ever seen. What do you guys think? I personally don't think it's even a penalty at all, he barely touched the guy...

Here is what Forsberg had to say about the penalty (from ESPN.com):

"I don't think it (the hit) was that bad," Forsberg said. "He was skating to the bench ... I didn't cross-check him ... it was more like a push in the back. But it was stupid to do it."

weak call. that slapper from the wing was awesome. if you can, keep posting highlights or the web site you're getting them from. it might be the only decent hockey some of us can see here in north america. even if it is just clips.

does anyone else find forsberg's wind up for that slap shot is a little weird?

i guess its his preference, its a really nice shot and all, but it kinda looks like moves all the way over to wind up... like off to the side?

really nice shot... but i dunno could be the angle of the camera...

Yeah he twisted a little bit, not textbook form by any means but it worked for him.

What player are you using...I've tried it in Winamp 5.0 and Media Player 9.0 and it doesn't play...I've tried streaming it, downloading it then running it and I've tried cutting and pasting the addy...nothing is working....

Damn.....says it is a corrupt or not supported file. I'll keep tyring...mayeb I'm missing WMP component.

...I renamed asf to asx and it played.....

Forsberg does have a weird wind up, but If I could have a weird wind up and rip them like that...who cares about textbook form...

MoDo's home opener against Luleå:

A weekly hockey show on TV, fast forward to around 9:30 for the MoDo game against Timrå (if you watch the whole thing you'll see highlights from two other games that were played today as well). At around 16:00 there's an interview with Brendan Morrison who plays for Linköping.

Check out this site and click on the link "Hockeykväll" with a little camera next to it, it's a weekly show where they show highlights from around the league, updated every Monday. The link that says "Matchbilder Omgång 7" shows some highlights from various games, this time from round 7, I believe this link gets updated between each round as well.
