This may have already been discussed but I need to know what happens when you cut a broken blade off a one peice hockey stick and put a blade into it. Does the blade have to be tapered? I know a standard blade will fit when it goes in the non cut end but I don't want to lose the kick point in the shaft. Let me know what you think. I'm sure it's an easy one but i'm just new to the whole tapered blade/shafts. thanks

If you cut it at the fuse point, you can use a tapered blade...

If you cut too far up, then you have to use a standard blade

thats what i was after. I lined it up with my other stick that was put together and marked it so i wouldn't lose any length. the standard blade wouldn't fit in at all. the width was ok but the fat sides of the blade wouldn't fit in

If the stick is broken below the fuse point, the Pulse can be heated and the blade can be replaced with another tapered blade.
