dontdumpdangle 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 Ok, I just broke the last of my yellow Tps R8's. I need a stick that has a similar puck feel/weight. I had a old kronik and it was decent, but they broke pretty quick. I like sticks that are pretty blade light. How is the RBK 10K's blade/balance point? I'll probally end up getting the new kronik but i cant find the grip version anywhere. Are there any online stores that have the new kronik in grip, 100 flex, fedorov right? gxc999 7 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 If you liked the R8, check out the 10K and the U+. The u+ would be better for you if you prefer slappers, otherwise, get the 10k.
K9 Unit 1 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 i don't know about the 10k blade...but the 10k feels very balanced, SE 16 is amazing when it comes to balance
dontdumpdangle 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 to me easton sticks perform great but dont last long. they always break right above the heel. I used to strictly use 2 piece sticks until my first response. What's the lightest shaft out?
Giroux28 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 not sure if its the lightest shaft out but the one95 two piece is a great stick i love it and it only cost about 150 for the shaft and blade

epstud74 24 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 Why not get the non-grip TPS sticks if you like the performance of these sticks? You can always spray on your own grip. I've used the Cramer spray on grip that you'll find in many baseball or football athletic tool kit boxes.

I've used the Cramer spray on grip that you'll find in many baseball or football athletic tool kit boxes.TPS is no more. I need to find a stick that i like that i can get more of when they break. Also, all the most recent tps sticks only come in grip. Ive been using TPS for so long that im pretty used to the way their sticks perform/feel, so im trying to find out what is close. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 Umm TPS delivered their 2009 stick line about a month ago. Not much has changed from last year but the ownership and the amount of product available has gone up.
dontdumpdangle 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 the 2 closest stores to me (hockey1 and pure hockey) didnt have shit in stock and niether were planning on getting any in.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 Oh ok, well they are available at HM and IW if memory serves correctly. They look and feel the same as last years offerings.
K9 Unit 1 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 not a tps fan but your obviously one...maybe stick with itbut to answer the se16 one piece is probably the most balanced stick on the marketdon't know how it performs on shots and stuff though...i've only played with it in the store don't own one :P
tooomey 1 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 I second that on the se16. Allthough im on my third one in matter of 6 months. Ive tried just about every stick out there and the se16 is one of the best IMO. Balance shooting and soft puck feel. But just got one95 and I like it just as much if not more even know its not as balanced. Its durable which is a huge plus for a top of the line stick. dontdumpdangle 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 Just made a trip up to pure hockey today. Really liked the feel of the RBK 10K. I dont like the textures on the one95 and u+ CL, and the Se16 felt blade heavey to me. How does the puck feel on the 10k? Also, is regular flex comparable to easton 100? They have it listed as

They have it listed as 85I only used my 10K one time so far, but I did not like the puck feel at all. I'm hoping after some use, the blade will soften up and the feel will be much better. The flex, to me, is a little stiffer then the Easton's, but not by much. So an 85 Easton is a little softer then the 85 10K I have. It's a great stick besides the feel. Leafsrule16 5 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 I prefer the blade light feel as well, never had a stick that felt quite as great as the cnt stealth. A great stick though is the synergy se, there quite cheap as well compared to the se16's. I dont know why but the se16 feels a bit different, i dont like it a whole lot. Prefer the first gen se's. On my TPS 10k the only thing I didnt like was that the blade was very lively and sometimes harder passes would bounce off of it a bit. I liked the rbk 10k in the store because it had pretty good balance and the shaft was a little thinner (probally one of the reasons I liked the kronik so much). rangers1234 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 Check out purehockey.com for the TPS R8 shaft / blade combo ($75/$30), or the one-piece ($100); free shipping as well. I just ordered the regular shaft and the one piece on thursday. The R8 blade is for tappered shafts. I personaly love my SE 16, but I have not used it enough to figure out how durable the stick is. My one issue with it is, it almost feels too light, like it's going to snap in your hand if you go hard into the boards for a puck. I tend to hold back with it.How is it recieving passes? However, I have decided to give it some more time and see if I can get used to it. There is not a lot of reviews on the REEBOK 10K on MSH. I did a search and it came up pretty empty. So if I get some games in over the next couple weeks I will update you on the perfromance.
