Skate question

Recommended Posts

After I saw the last thread regarding skate fit I decided I'd post a few pictures and get some advice from the experts here on MSH. Doubtful I'll be going on-line I'm a hardcore Canadian so I'd like to keep it in the family(at my LHS.) I thank anyone who responds in advance for any help you can give.

Whats the difference between the U+ and the preloaded? I assume the last yrs model of the U+ would all fit the same

Reloaded molds better than last years! Would be a much better fit!

in the new CCM line, and in the onexx line is there a fit trickle down affect? Which grafs would I fit into?

For what its worth...

I (other recent feet picture guy) went with the Flexlite 4.0's that was after trying on about 12 different skates from Graf g70 W, S11 and S15, One90's EE, One 95's EE, X60 EE, One 70's EE, One 75's EE... took me about 3 hours to settle on the Flexlites.

WOW, that 3 hour experience is what I'm trying to avoid. We have somewhat similar feet I just haave a slightly wide heel.

RBK's may work for you then if your heel is wider. That is what drove me to new skates. Pumping them 20 times wasn't getting them even close to tight enough

Oh also one thing that helped me is when i finally thought the flexlite was the best i still tried the other skates back on my right foot while the flexlite was on the left for comparison

Don't like the pump idea to be honest, The way I see it the fit will never be the same twice(thats just me tho,) with the advise from Oldtrainerguy I'm going to check out the One95s and the U+s. MAYBE give RBK a try, doubt it tho.

how's your exp with flexlite? is it has big volume on middle part? because my ONE75 isnt wide enough on the middle part. is it good for flat footed?

I've skated on them twice so far (just took them off about 2 hours ago), and have absolutely zero complaints... Not sure how much the flexlites actually need to be "broken in" as I think they come feeling very comfortable. but I can only imagine it will get even better.
