Reebok 4-Roll Gloves

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

With these four roll gloves from Reebok:

http://www.hockeymonkey.com/reebok-hockey-...oll-pro-sr.html

Do you think there is anyway to paint stripes on the solid green gloves? I play on a green gold white team, and I think the gloves would look awesome with green stripes, or white stripes, like the other ones have.

If you can do that, does anyone know what I need to get or use? Paint marker, anytihng like that?

And i also wanted to know if they were a hockey monkey SMU, or if my lhs would be able to order them.

thanks guys

Your LHS should be able to order them, but there's a probably a minimum quantity for a custom colorway.

my guess would be like 6 right?

if its 2 or 3, my LHS is awesome, usually they will sell me a pair at retail and stock the others

get some crappy gloves with the same or similar material and try fabric dye. I got some closeout gloves in a horrible black/yellow/purple color for 20 bucks and will try dying the purple and yellow parts.

if your going for a black out look i would use kiwi edge dressing. becareful when using it if you get any on you you'll be wearing for awhile. great stuff though.

to answer a few of my questions that someone else might have been wondering.

the only thing i have come up with is maybe trying some vinyl dye.

they are SMU for HockeyMonkey...and number21, i saw that but i have a childish problem with warrior and refuse to buy from them for a while haha.

If worst comes to worst, I will dye these after the season, after i need them to try it out, and use them all green for the season. either way ill let you guys know

Wait these cant be smu just for monkey, totalhockey.net has a similar glove (they look the same but are maybe slightly diferent) amd has anybody checked these gloves out yet? Need gloves for a red, yellow and black team these would match perfect.

ye i agree with titand19 you should definitely try them on an old pair of gloves, but you should water tested though because that much exposure to water could make the dye run.

IMO, the gloves look pretty bad. Both online and the pairs I saw at Monkey Sports, none of the lines on the backrolls lined up. They feel good, but they just look cheap to me.

i was checking these out at my lhs today.... i think they look pretty decent, actually. i didn't like the way the thumb felt for me, and the palms were a little rough-feeling, but i think they're a pretty decent glove for $89usd. the lines didn't seem to be cooked on any of the pairs that i saw.
