GimpIndustries 1 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 Does anyone know anything about these? Any advice on this skate, pro stock or not?http://www.hockeymonkey.com/nbh-hockey-ska...e-one95-sr.html
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 My advice, don't buy "pro stock" skates without seeing them in person, knowing the modifications from retail(if there are any) and NEVER buy skates without trying them on.
jarret_g 5 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 I heard rumors that when bauer took over NBH they were changing the liner in the one95 to a clarino liner. These may be those skates, just like the U+ and U+ reloaded? I'm not really sure. I'd definatly call hockeymonkey and talk to someone about it to see what the differences actually are. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 Good luck finding someone that knows more than; "It's a skate, I think it's black. It has metal on the bottom, I think that's new."

You'll get way more information here from asking and searching.

jww83 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2010 Sorry to bring up a slightly older topic...Since these have been out for quite a while now is anyone able to give some feedback on these skates? Are the ONLY differences the ones stated by HM and HG? Do they fit the same as the regular one95?The main reason I'm interested in these as opposed to the regular one95 is the regular ls2 steel and the better(?) footbed.(PS. for anyone who didn't catch it in the 'good deals' thread, these skates are being closed out for a great price on HG)
GimpIndustries 1 Report post Posted February 4, 2010 I bought these a few months ago and love them. Same fit as the regular one95's, just stiffer.
slaw 1 Report post Posted February 4, 2010 I have Olie Jokinen's One95's (because we both have ridiculous feet) & I had regular stock One95's before then. JR is right, per usual, Clarino Liner & with mine specifically, they have the old school big leather tongue, which is unreal. What you should do is call HockeyMonkey, ask for the number (JR, you might know the specific name of this number) it is located under the footbed on bottom of the skate, take that number and call Bauer and ask whose skates they were exaclty. All pro-stocks have this number in them and it is a registration number at Bauer HQ in St.Jerome where they can tell you what the modifications are from regular stock skates & that might be able to help you out a little more, as opposed to just calling HM and asking someone to outline the differences in the skates you are buying form the retail O95's

I think they are an SMU rather than actual pro models. I will try and call them though and ask them.To the poster two posts abve - stiffer!?! really? I think I may pass then. Also, how do you find the different footbed?
