kinda sorta, but the voice is way to stuffy/corporate to be Piven.

Searched internet and found several news items for the HTC campaign, none of which mentioned Piven as the voiceover.

Sounds to me like:

"We want Jeremy Piven"

[insert phone call to JP's agent]

"What, Piven wants HOW much???"

"Get me someone who sounds like Piven...kinda..."

thats pretty much the way all of hollywood works.

i know someone who works for deutsch (ad. co. that did the campaign), i'm going to email her and get the actor's name for you. your friend's wallet can thank me, because it's not piven... although they probably spent enough money on this campaign that they could have got him.

No, Hollywood/NYC agencies have the money to get the voices they want....this is the way smaller, local agencies work.

im talking hollywood in general, yo. the entire industry is based on imitation. if you look like tom cruise or brad pitt, you're going to get cast faster. true, the big agencies hire the big talent, but you have to start somewhere in order to get big. and if your look is recognizable or familiar or proven, you're bound to succeed in hollywood.

and for the record, the voice is that of aaron eckhart.

I see ads on the voice-over websites that make me think the same thing
