?? Have you played any other sport that required a mouthguard? If you want some taste, stick some gum to it

the key to a good tasting mouth guard it to keep it clean, regulary imerse for about 5-10 minutes in a small cup of mouthwash like Scope or Listerine, to kill the bacterica which causes the foul taste...and the first time you put it in after the "scope dunking" it will taste good for a few minutes, but you will soon forget about as you score a few goals...

If you want some flavor thats one thing, if your trying to get rid of funk thats another. You got funk then there is bacteria. Kill it with mouthwash or get the mouthguard ultraviolet sanitizer. If your just looking for flavor, why bother its a mouthguard not a dog chew toy.

The point is to help prevent a concussion, or the loss of teeth if you wear a half shield. They aren't pointless......
