Mission Titanium at HM?

Recommended Posts

I use this stick and like it a lot. The blade is awesome for puck feel.

shaft has this slippery coating on it (matte finish?) and is kinda boxy.

I really like this stick despite it being a bit heavy in my books.

I think it was sale at National Sports but that was a couple of months ago.

They still probably have it, give them a call or check their website for telephone numbers.

If you go to National, ask a sales rep to check the price for you. Even though the sale was over months ago, I was still able to pick up two junior sticks at $59.99 each. The price tag on the sticks was still listed as $129.99. Might work for intermediates and seniors, but I didn't ask for those.

I remember seeing this at the proshop in aston, PA about three years back. I really liked the coating, but I don't think I could ever get used to using anything made by Mission.

btw, they got bought by Bauer, right?

I was thinking about asking for one of these for Christmas. I have been on a two-piece kick for a while, but $109 isn't bad for Mission's last top of the line OPS.

I wonder what would be the replacement if it broke within the 60-day warranty period. Another Titanium I would assume, but what about once they ran out? Would it become Bauer's responsibility? Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere.

I got a One95 from Bauer about 3 months ago.

Did you get the one95 as a replacement from breaking a mission titanium?

Yes, and when you make the warranty return on the Bauer website, the Titanium is not listed. Only the Fuel TI, Fuel TI Pro and the Fuel TI Grip are options so if you want a grip One95 back pick the TI grip, if not pick one of the others. I sent in a Hossa pattern one and got back a P88, FYI.

Here, I edited my first post so it won't cause a mass puchase and breakage of Mission Titanium sticks in order to get One95's..... which would then more than likely cause riots at your local LHS because of stores being out of Mission Titaniums... I should have thought about my post more before I posted it sorry to all that have been offended by me thinking out loud and in writing...

That's why I said "almost". Not something I'd probably consider myself but lets be honest, Bauer put themselves in a situation to be taken advantage of although their main intent is actuallyto offer their customers excellent customer service. Anyway, from what I've read lately about Bauer, it's definitly not something I'd consider myself as they have proven to be a great company customer service wise.

But yet you were the one to propose the idea....

EDIT: Double Post

It was just an idea and no harm was done.

From the sounds of it, it's like you've never done anything wrong in your life so just let it go.

Thanks for the info BLKHKhockey. How long did the Titanium actually last?

The blade got stuck in a crack in the boards so it only lasted a month or two. I bought 2 more because I liked them so much, but I bought them in 100 flexes when I should have bought the 85s. Regardless, they are awesome sticks for $100. My only complaint is that the toe chips a little, but not like other sticks(shouldn't be a problem if you tape the toe) and the stick becomes whippier over time(it's good for me but others may not like this).

My friend broke his, and when he called bauer they gave him a choice of an X60 or One95...

I think that's prettry generous, an X:40 or One75 would be equivalent to the TI in terms of cost i think
