X:60 2 Piece

Anybody have any experience with the 2 piece version of the X:60? Looking to buy myself something for x-mas but cant justify the $210 to the wife. Figure buying a shaft here and a blade there she won't notice.

Sounds like you need the sneaky side account, friend, an account that you can use on these kind of discretionary purchases that doesn't spend the grocery and mortgage money.

Half - I have the X:60 shaft with an Easton SE16 blade in it. I like the shaft itself, but I wish I would have gotten a whipper flex. I use 85 in Easton and bought the 87 X:60, but I should have gotten the 77 flex. Mind you, I did have to cut the shaft down a little. It has held up well in the 3 months or so that I have had it. Just the usual wear and tear. As for the 'Intellisense' flex technology; I haven't really noticed any difference coming from a Warrior AK27. Feel free to ask specifics.

I've seen about as many X:60 shafts in minor hockey as I've seen the one pieces, which I find rare because if something new comes out I don't normally see kids rush out to get the shafts right away, if ever.

Recently purchased a 102 flex w/ an X60 blade...I like the shaft, the blade not so much...the feel is hollow when catching a pass...

Shaft has a nice load and release...very nice shaft.
