rangers1234 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 most of those are oldPlus the pattern DB uses different names for the different companies to describt the same pattern. If it was in a standard language for each company it would be a lot easier to search comparable patterns. But to answer your question, I'm think it's the Recci / Taveres pattern. starsfan71 9 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 If you are buying a stick from this year a Tavares, or Recchi from previous years, I find the curve to be a little bit deeper then the iginla.

If it was in a standard language for each company it would be a lot easier to search comparable patterns. But to answer your question, I'm think it's the Recci / Taveres pattern. That's the point. It gives the specs on each company's curves and you can search by the specs that you want. For example, search mid and CCM to get your match, unless it's the short blade that's important to you, or perhaps you care about the closed and small curve. It does have standard language- heel, mid, toe, closed, open...CCM doesn't have a clone. Recchi/Tavares is mid and closed. If you care about the shallow curve aspect, then it's probalby not your best bet in CCM.

Shouldn't be much trouble in adjusting.
starsfan71 9 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 I know it is the closest curve that you could get to the Iginla, I was just giving him a heads up, like Chadd said though it's an easy transition

MLSman 22 Report post Posted December 23, 2009 Used to use the Iggy religiously...switched to CCM. Using the Tavares and I absolutely love it. Only difference between the two is a slightly longer blade and the toe is more square than the Iginla. Makes roof jobs a cinch.
