tamtamg 12 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Hey guys. I've been participating in a weekly game out in Walled lake. We got a fairly large sheet of ice that is well maintained (regularly flooded, no bumps). We've decided to expand to more people, and with regulation nets and goalies. It's mostly guys in their 30-40's, beginner skill level. I think I'm the youngest guy at 24. We're out there to have fun, so if you want to come out toe dragging and trying to be the next OV, please don't come. If any of you are interested in joining, post your interest here. Also if you are a goalie or have a net we could use, let me know (we have 1 goalie and 1 net so far). Also bringing some beers would also be appreciated. The games are Saturdays at 1pm. I'll PM you the address if you are interested.

I believe they flood every night. the ice surrounding it is another story. for the guys who expressed interest, I'll pm you the details later in the week (probably Friday night). tamtamg 12 Report post Posted February 17, 2010 ooohhh! I'm so tempted to play goal! I'm out of town the next couple weeks, but I'll let you know when I get back.We could still use a goalie. Also, they we started a new rule, price of admission is a pair of warrior ryan malone team usa or victor kozlov team russia gloves. i know it's kind of a strange/specific rule, but I don't make them, just enforce them. :P i wish i lived closer,I live an hour away and still go, if you live within an hr away. no excuses. tamtamg 12 Report post Posted February 20, 2010 Looks like we're meeting today (2/20) at 1pm at the rink in Central Park(located downtown right next to the train tracks and huron river) in Milford. It's a public outdoor rink and it's free.
