is there much difference between supreme and vapor skates ?

Recommended Posts

As i stated on the topic, I would like to know difference between supreme and vapor skates.

I have been using vapor line skates for 3 years and I think I like them because they are better than reebok skates that i used to have

So, I was gonna get Vapor 60 for next season, but new supreme skates are coming

I would like to go try them on but i would not be sure until i hit them up

so, just let me know difference between them

thanks

The fit is drastically different. If you've been comfortable with vapors, supremes are a bad idea.

listen to the man! I've skated in Vapors for close to 10 years. recently there was an insane deal on Supreme 70s so I grabbed a pair. there's something about the boot that sits very differently from the Vapors. I didn't really care for it so I'll be selling them soon. the newer Vapors seem to be a little bigger in size though. in my old vapors I wore a 6D. I found a deal on Vapor XXXXs recently and was able to downsize to a 5.5D which is junior. I saved a bundle! I like the clean, simple look of the Supreme line more but I'm just more of a Vapor kind of skater I guess.

The vapor is going to be an all around narrow style fit while the supreme is a more standard/wide fit the second difference is going to be the Vapors Agressive position which is going to set your foot up in a somewhat forward position at all times while the supreme is going to give you that neutral position fit so if your a long time vapor wearer you will feel a very drastic difference. So the main difference is going to be the Aggressive VS Neutral stance and its pretty dramatic. The difference alone between my S12s and brothers X40s is insane I can barely skate with them.

These newer Vapors do not seem to be a "narrow" fit compared to the Missions or older Vapors and Supremes of the past. So that is where it gets confusing.
