Proper Glove Care

Recommended Posts

So, being the intelligent person that I am, I forgot to air out my gloves after my last game. As such, the palms have become really stiff and "crusty". What's the best way to deal with this so that they feel okay for game time? I remember reading something about shaving cream, but I can't remember what exactly I am supposed to do.

For what it's worth, they are retail Warrior Franchises.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I use baby powder after they are dry. But if you have any kind of a grip on the shaft this will prob not work for you. Also after skates a dryer sheet keeps them fresh.

Inside or outside or both?

If you put it on the outside, it should moisturize all the way through the palm.

don't put it inside as Chadd has stated. also make sure you get the gussetts as well. the best shaving cream to use is barbosol in the red can. put the shaving cream directly on to the palm and work in, repeat as needed.
