Roller Hockey Style

Been on 'proclaimed hockey equipment whores' a lot lately, where u post pictures of yourself on the rink and people critique your style. Thought there should be one for roller too. Get it started if you're down.

There's a Show it Off thread in the Ice Hockey section but it isn't big on critiquing like that other place. This is a reputable site and not an online daycare like that place.

Go back to the Show it Off thread and read the first five pages. It's established immediately that style is not important. You're here because you want to look at gear, and it doesn't matter what you have. So kudos for starting a roller one, but is it not already included in the show it off thread, and the ice to roller conversion threads?

Na, they are prototypes from when bauer first bought mission, they have a bauer toecap but the boot does look similar to commanders I guess.

I think what Mack was saying is that if you wanted to start a thread to show off your roller gear you should have just started one with pics, and not one with text. Also, he was saying that if you wanted one to just critique other people then you're in the wrong place.

Are those boards just full sheets of plexi? I guess without contact or a hard puck full boards might not be needed but I've never seen that before.

One side of the rink is all glass. Full length plexi glass panes. The pucks are pretty hard and they stand up fine.

yup theres a couple rinks like that around, definatly a plus for the viewers.

Though the coolest place is snellville GA, the rink is sunk down about 5 feet and viewing from above.
