Cdn boys what do you use for shipping?

Recommended Posts

Guys what service do you use for shipping sticks and shafts? I used to go to the one postal office the guy never measured and only charged me by weight so the price was avg 20 to ship a stick and 10 or so for a shaft. But now this guy doesn't work there anymore and they want like 25 for a shaft in a tube. Seeing if i'm getting shafted (no pun intended ;)) or if there is a better service.

Canada post seems to be the best deal. I've used greyhound courier before, but I've had some issues with them on my last two deliveries, so beware.

CP fees are seemingly all over the place, like you said, it depends on who's working the till. you may want to consider a venture one card. it's for business, but they don't ask for proof. it saves something like 10-15%.

I use Canada Post...Print shipping labels online with Paypal, stick em on the stick and just drop it off at the post office.

People who work there don't seem to care, they just ask if it's pre-paid...I say yes, they take it in, and it gets delivered!

Average for a stick is $25.

Never shipped a shaft but I would imagine it's around $16 - $17.

interesting but so you just input dimensions and weight and it's all pre-paid does the post office ever reject it?

Ha well yes I pay for the bubble wrap, and also Ontario is like $21 but BC is $28... Don't even get me started about Texas.

Post office hasn't rejected me yet, but I haven't ever lied (too much) about the dimensions and weight.

Plus I've only shipped like 10 sticks, in sets of 5 :P. The lady who works there seems mighty relieved when I tell her it's all pre-paid.

I use Canada Post too. Usually pretty much the best deal.

I shipped a pair of 36 inch non NHL legal pads for 20 bucks last year. Got a lucky break as the lady put the 3 feet by 2 feet box on the scale, half of the box was on a pile of phone books so only half of the box really got weighed in so I was pretty. I was sending them back to Eagle for some repairs.

shit all the shipping materials are free some usps. They even drop them off at my door

Yeah USPS is a lot better than Canada Post price-wise and stuff, but the way they update their tracking is just terrible.

well there is a reason why USPS is in the red, cause the tube i was going to reuse had a shipping cost sticker of 9 bucks for two synergy se shafts :D

FedEx can be a good alternative as well. They were cheaper than Canada Post the last time I checked to have a shaft shipped to the east coast.
