In the same vein, look at the players who have never put on the maple leaf. The un-heralded grinders and such. How big of a thrill is it for them, to be on a Canada team? I don't exactly watch every game, but I will support Canada, regardless of how well they do, or who they send. And this tournament is a big deal for our Eastern friends, so why scrap it? Hockey is hockey, enjoy it. Remember how good the world championships were to watch during the lockout? I was giggling with joy in actually getting to WATCH some good hockey. Count your blessings.

Who said Denmark and Germany had a better roster than Canada and USA? And those "big names" from the KHL are not big names, Caslava, who? The czechs have a brutal roster.

you didn't say it straight out, but it sounded like the germans/danes had a much better team than Usa and Canada, and thats all wrong.

So, the BIG names from KHL are not big names? Jagr, Marek, Rolinek for example, would take a spot in ANY NHL team. But why do they play in Russia?, just because of the money.. Have you ever seen a KHL game?

On the Usa v Germany question, yes, i think so..

Germany didn't either have their best team.. Erhoff came in late.. No Hecht, No Sturm, No Schubert, No Seidenberg, No Greiss..

The german league is much better than you think, it's on par with Finnish SM-Liiga, Swedish SEL..
