Easton Glove Fit

Recommended Posts

I don't know about the Easton gloves, but my Bauer 4 rolls have a ton of room...more than any other glove I've used. I'd be sure to try on a pair before getting them if you have smaller hands.

I have a ton of 4-rolls and fit nicely into a pair of Easton 14" E-Pros. So I just need to know how the EQs will fit compared to those. I don't have the ability to try the EQs on since no one around me really carries them...

The Eq5s, IMO, are a snugger glove compared to the 4rolls, especially the cuff.

E-Pro's are a crap glove, don't even consider them. So, between the Bauer 4-Rolls and the Easton EQ5, the EQ5 will be the snugger fitting glove, which I prefer because I have smaller-ish hands.

Why would Easton put out a snugger fitting glove when the previous line (SE6, SE16) fit so loose? Especially when the Stealth line (S19) is so snug. Did the SE16 sell THAT badly that they have to redesign the entire fit of a line?

Compared to the Bauer glove it is definitely snugger, but that's because Bauer makes 4Roll gloves that people can swim in. As an Easton glove, it's still loose, but not as loose as the SE16's were.

Just to be a hundred percent clear you should limit that to the retail E-pro's.

I don't know why but some of the prostock easton 4-rolls have an e-pro label on the cuff, I have a pair from the Sens with an E-pro label and a pair from the Wings with a synergy label and they are nearly identical.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Easton just doesn't sell its NHL glove to the general public. Its popular and seems to sell well for a glove you either have to get custom ordered or prostock.

Correct, I should have clarified. The dead give away if it's prostock or retail will be that the prostock gloves have the silver Bio-Dri liner inside.

i tried on the EQ5 at sport chek...

and it was really snug fitting... the glove actually felt okay from trying it on at the store...

lots of mobility, and the adjustable wrist was nice.. so was the 3 piece fingers

My brother recently got the retro Canadiens EQ5's - it's a narrow fit compared to like a Synergy glove or a Bauer. I think the sizes- 13,14, etc... are purely glove length.
