Hockey Monkey Dolo DD

Pro Stock is almost always a crap shoot on what it actually is. The HM Dolo's are probably no different. Couldn't hurt to call and ask though.

Most prostock warriors I've seen are fused. I know they can be customized with the options below

Sticks are a great example how much detail goes into customizing for a pro player. Here are the options:

-1300 different pattern molds, most pros get their own mold.

-6 different handle shapes

-7 different outer finishes (Super tack, Grip, Soft Grip, Velvet Grip, PolarFibre, SharkSkin, Clear)

-Flex range is 50flex to 180flex in 5flex point increments

-6 different internal blade packages (foams, stiffeners etc)

Would it be safe to say that most warriors are based on the dolo and then customized to spec for the player?

I thought most Dolo's were based off of Inno's as well as Bauer's Vapor XX. Or at least some of the ones I've seen.

Like I said, a crap shoot, haha.

The point that I'm making is unless you know what you want from pro stock gear, unlike the OP, you're going to have no idea what you're actually going to get.

I know it's a crapshoot when it comes to trying to find another stick like a warrior pro stock you had because of all options the player could have chosen from. I was asking if it safe to say that most pro stock warriors are some form of a dolo

Got in my hm dolo dd's yesterday with kovalev / draper curves. Compared to my retail sticks, the lies on the stick are all about 5, but the curves seem to be tweeked a little bit (more open / closed) than the retail version. They are the same style curve but just a bit modified.

The other threads listed above:

The apperance is very similar to the retail, with the exception of the flex rating is listed on the shaft with a circular label that is not removable. The finish is good as it is a pro-stock and does not have the retail glossy look, the blades are all matte and have no logos on them. Maybe just me but the fused point for the shaft/hosel looks like it has been beefed up a bit (you are able to see the fuse point on the shaft compared to retail).

Just wanted to list some of the things I noticed with the retails / prostocks side by side.

I wish HM would get an order of Dolo shafts with polarfiber.

Amen. Add me to the list of people who would buy PF at retail in a heartbeat.

Anyone know where this information came from?

I mean the original information; I don't want someone responding bostonjuniorblackhawks

Any shot you can compare them to a retail DD or give us a weight?

I picked up some prostock dolo HD if anyone has any questions about those.

I've got 3 quick ones: Are they like retail weight-wise? Could you say they are well balanced or are they bladeheavy? And last but not least people here say it shoots crap. Is it true?

Thanks in advance

I've handled pro stock dolos with the stock curves multiple times at tsr. They feel as balanced or maybe a little better than the retail version. Also I haven't shot with one yet, but my cousin bought one and says it shoots fine. The weight is close to retail as well

1. It feels slightly lighter

2. It its a little bit blade heavy... if 50/50 was an even balance I would say the stick is 45/55

3. I'm still using my s17 till it dies but my friend who I split the pack said he felt that his shot improved a lot with the stick.

I was at tsr today and was wondering where the dolos came from ex: league/team because there were no names on them.
