not really. skate mate uses a flexible sharpening cylinder to accomodate different roh. however i don't think it works well unless you have a very flat hollow.

the old tool shown has a fixed radius for only one roh. it works better for that specific roh but wont accomodate any other radius. there are still devices like this on the market today with the fixed radius.
