Combat Blades

I was looking at ordering some custom blades. Has any one had an experience with combat wood or composite blades? Whats the feel and performance like? Any info would be great.

I've compared the feel of their sticks to that of the Easton 05 Stealths, which I loved, some didn't. They aren't the best feeling blades, but certainly not the worst.

I didn't care for the feel of the OPS, but if the only other custom option is Sher-wood; I guess Combat gets the nod.

I have custom composite blades from combat. The newest offering of blades are very stiff, and pretty durable. They are one of the few places that will make a custom compostie for Joe Blow it seems like. They told me that I had to have an exact replica, in near new condition, blade for them to copy the mold off of. My last set of blades was made in China (I think True Temper's factory there...but Ive been wrong before). You should email them up and get the ball rolling, the initial order for blades is 12 + the mold fee. After that you can order in 6's.

Hey Zach, was Combat able to match things like the thinness of the blade? I have a pro stock Zubov blade I would love to get made but only if Combat was going to match it exactly.

Oh ya...my blades are extremely thin (thinner than Zubov blades). So dont worry, they will be able to give you an exact clone. Like I said, you just have to front the cash on the first order, and after that, its much more tolerable.

65 or so per blade x 12

Mold fee (mine was 350 a few years ago in a different factory, no idea now)

Initial order for 12 blades = $1130

Youve got to pay to play. Also, worth mentioning, that these blades do not have warranties, they are considered prostock.
