DolomaticDangles 13 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 Ive had some Easton Ultralite elbows since peewee hockey. I think theyre a JR large, but the velcro has stretched so much that they still kinda fit. I'm getting new ones, they don't have to be top-of-the-line, I could care less, I just need a pair that are mobile, protect my elbow, and are comfortable. The Warrior Hitman, and Bauer X:40 look pretty dece. Any suggestions? Thanks

I haven't used them yet as they only came in the mail yesterday, but I tried them on and they feel quite mobile (although the middle strap is slightly tight for me, but it could simply feel that way because these are a medium and my last pads were large). They're also very light - lighter than both the Bauer One90s and Nike V14s I have. They're the lightest high end elbows I've felt (they're lighter than the hustlers I tried on last year), but still have a good level of protection.
Stryker 37 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 I use Supreme 70's and they work out pretty good. Solid mobility, decent protection, good price too...

Weirdness aside, I decided today on a pair of Bauer One95s, as they are quite light and move well with tons of protection. I work at an LHS too, and I'd say the X:40s, One55 or 75s, Hitman or U+ 09s would be a good place to start. All depends on how they fit and move for you. Dr. Funk 6 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 Sort of an old topic (slow day at the hospital, which I guess is a good thing), but I'm a big fan of my Easton ST16s. For under $50, they're a great buy. Protective, mobile, light, comfortable, and streamlined. I wear them just as much, and like them almost as much, as my Rbk 8k Pro models.

I bought a pair and wore them for the first time yesterday, and they were really comfortable, didn't slip around at all, and were very protective. They are definitely on par with my friends 9k's. duch 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 I also recommend the ST 16's by Easton. Just as good as my Jofa 9144's and less bulky and expensive.
