I've had mine for about 4 months now and to be honest, I really wish I hadn't bought them. I got them in an emergency since my other pair of gloves were stolen and I needed something quick (they were on sale for $55 at a local store). Protection is okay, but the palms are awful. I'm just waiting on a friend of mine to bring my Predators Warrior Franchises back with him from his vacation, then I'm scrapping the X Pros. Not even worth reselling imo.

I've got both pairs of gloves at home, and although I think the X60 pros are better, the Xpros arent that all bad. They offer pretty decent protection but feel more snug than the x60 pros.

I have a pair that is about 10 games old and have been happy with them. The first couple of games the palms were a little slick, but they have since broken in nicely and loosened up just a hair.

Took a slapshot off the thumb yesterday night and did not feel a thing, which I was impressed with.

Appreciate the feedback guys. My current pair are some Warrior Dolomites, so I'm not quite as spoiled when it comes to gloves as some of yall. Just looking for a solid pair to throw into a rotation.

So the X:40 is the better bet that those X:Pros? (without going all the way the X:60) I like the way my intro X:20's fit, but I can tell they aren't going to last that long. I tried the Supreme fit -- a little too snug.

Let me know how you like them, Honda.

You could always get some warrior pro series gloves for cheap now a days if you want to stay with warrior? or if you want a decent glove for the price in the vapor line the x40's are really nice.

I got the Dolomites for 50 bucks last fall, love em but the palms went downhill pretty quick. Was looking for something that fit a little more snug around the fingers, which is why I went for the vapors. Wanted to try and stay around the $50-$70 dollar range being the broke college student that I am. I was looking hard at the Warrior Koncepts and the Fubar Pros, but they didn't look too much better than the Dolos for an extra 40 bucks. We'll see how these turn out.

Just got the xpro's in today. Out of the box they look legit. The fit is perfect, and they have all the bells and whistles I'm looking for (with the exception of the triple-break index finger). Just based on first impressions, they look every bit worth the $65 bucks. Once I get some ice time with them I'll post up a review.

How are the X:Pros treating you so far? When I upgrade my Vapor X:20s, I'm planning on either those or the X:40s?

I'm a big fan so far. The fit is perfect for me. The cuff roll allows for a pretty good range of motion, they're really really light, pretty breathable as well. For around $70 bucks, I can't really ask for more from a glove. I don't really notice not having the triple break index finger, as the nylon gussets stretch enough to get a good grip on the stick. Only gripe I have is that the thermo max liner on the backhand heats up really quick. I pull them out when I play, really helps reduce the interior temp of the glove.

If the extra 40 bucks isn't an issue with you, then the X:40s will be a little bit better than the X:Pros. For me, the differences don't warrant the extra money.

Thanks. Yeah, I've decided the Vapor fit is the best for me also.

Glove purchases are a balancing act between Feel and protection. The X60 pros are the best of both Unless you can get the X 60 pro with the thin Calf leather and want to get them repalmed all the time. The x60 pro is the best glove I have ever used. Yeah I know this is about the Xpro. My point is you can get a decent pro level glove for that money that is a couple years old. Spend money on gloves, skates, and a stick. Stick feel is paramount and you just dont get it with those gloves. Try on a pair of X60 pros those and you will see.

If you're the type that uses cloth for any sort of knob, it tears it up. About two months ago, I finally switched over to the cohesive gauze stuff and it's a lot smoother on the palms. But, cloth tears it up. And the feel on them is just..awkward. Of course for the $70 I paid for them months back I can't complain too much.

I've got a little bit of discoloration on them from a weekend of heavy use, but it's only cosmetic so far. I love the feel they have at this point in their life, but we'll see how well they age.
