Tony's Canvas Bags

Recommended Posts

Tried the search and was surprised to find no reviews or opinions on Tony's Canvas Bags.

I'm looking for a new bag, had my old CCM since high school, holes, broken zippers, tears, it has 'em.

Tony's claims to use a very high quality canvas coupled with legitimate zippers (not the Land's End zippers that come on most bags these days..) which would justify the $75 USD price, for me at least.

I want a bag that will hold up for another 8-10 years and am just looking to hear from anyone with personal experience with Tony. Thanks guys!

I have never used a bag from him, but I know a lot of kids who have (his shop is maybe 30 min from where I live and he supplies a lot of local high school teams with bags) and they seem to be holding up well.

I might have to scope an Army surplus place to see if they have a good cheap canvas bag. Need one to throw stuff in for stick and puck.

The Bags are top quality, built to last.He has repalmed gloves for me and I have always been happy with his work. On a side note, St. Lawrence University's mens D-1 hockey team uses his bags.

Most of the high school bags in the area are actually Laurin Bags

They are the Laurin, not Tony's, I have had one of the bags for like 12 yrs, my brothers is like 6 yrs old also, they look kind of the same, but the Laurin bags are alot cheaper, about $15 I think.

It's been a couple years since I've played in the league, but I know MVP Sports in Potsdam used to stock Tony's bags in different colorways (Potsdam, N-N, Massena, etc.)
