Machinehead2k5 32 Report post Posted October 16, 2010 Found a pretty good deal on a 8.0.8 on ebay. What's the durability of the blade on it, as well as what does it feel like? I enjoyed the old 9k0 and 7k sickick 1st gen sticks from Reebok.

uclahockey707 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 Used two for a week or two each. They were both pro stock and the blades felt dead to me (not a lot of response of feel compared to one95 or other $200 sticks). Not sure how this relates to the retail, but I haven't heard great things about it. Many say it's an improvement over the 9ko but still not a top of the line performer. Cool looking but just couldnt shoot with these sticks. But, if you liked the older model I'm sure you'll be more use to this stick and you'll have much better luck than me. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 Mine held up fine structurally but it chipped up pretty easily. I'm not sure how well it holds up long term, I used mine for less than a full month. It's MUCH better than the 9KO, to me it felt more like a V10 Catapult.
gxc999 7 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 I have a Pro Stock 8.0.8 that I love. However I've only used it 7 or 8 times, and it's been fine through that amount of time, but I still can't say much of the durability.

raganblink 82 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 durability to me was the same as every other 200 dollar stick (retail side). reason they're not popular at all imo is b/c it is a one and done stick. granted, most sticks are one and done, but, for those who always want to make it a shaft after they break the blade, that is not possible with this one. When I used my 9kO stick, I ripped a snapper past a pretty good goalie during sticktime from the blueline. I loved the kick.
