Warrior AK stick question

Recommended Posts

I purchase an intermediate Warrior AK stick earlier this year. Great stick and loved using it until I broke the blade (got stuck in the boards)

Can the blade be pulled out like a two piece? Is this in fact the same as the AK27 shaft+blade combo or is this stick constructed differently?

I had one break too, and I might be wrong but I believe its a one piece or a two peice woven together. I dont think the blade detaches from the shaft.

Well that really sucks :( "Unfortunately" I will have to buy a new stick if that is the case. If nobody else has the answer I'll report back if I ever happen to take a hacksaw to the shaft to take a look inside.

Just use a heat gun where you think the fuse point could be, and you might actually be able to see a faint line. Heat it up for a while, put it in a clamp and pull.

Also, if you manage to get the old blade out you'll be needing a tapered blade (Warrior Dolo2 blades) as a direct replacement. If you go standard blade you'll be doing some cutting.

Really? I can't just stick in an AK27 blade in?

Thanks for all the replies everyone!

You'd have to cut the shaft higher than the fuse point to fit standard blades in it, or flip it over and put it in the butt end of the shaft.

Flipping won't work because it is an intermediate shaft.
