Bauer X:60 Possible Pro Stock Stick?

Recommended Posts

I just picked up a couple Bauer X:60 sticks and the graphics are different than retail... they still have the TeXtreme carbon weave on them, but doesn't have it written on the shaft.

Is it possible this is a repaint? Would a repainted stick still have the TeXtreme weave? or could it just be different graphics for pro-stock (I think its from a player in the minors possibly)?

Probably pro stock, normally they'll leave out some useless graphics on the stick. Normally theres codes on the shaft that tell you what kind of stick it really is. You can check it out in the pattern db. The only other bauer stick that uses the textreme weave is the TotalOne so it could possibly be a TO.

I just found this on gameusedsticks.com

My stick looks exactly like this malkin pro stock.

Looks like i got a decent deal... 2 sticks one with grip one without, pretty much new for $200

like sharks25 said. check the bottom of the name bar... there will be 3 lines of what appear to be randon letters and numbers. they all mean something and will tell you what the stick is all about.

could look something like this

P91A

87

C28

first line is the curve type. it could be a retail curve or a complete custom. middle number is the flex and bottom nomenclature refers to the model of the stick.

I also notice that my sticks show a seam near the blade... also it seems to have some kind of wrap over it (really small checker, but can still see the TeXtreme weave?)... almost like the easton se16 kevlar wrap?

Anybody with a pro stock seen anything similar?

Starting to question what i got!!!

the PM9-R i would assume means the curve and handedness

and the 87 means the flex

the G15F i have no idea about though, someone on here will probably know though.

I too have recently bought an X60 from eBay from a minor league type player. I googled the guy and he's in hockeydb. It's a grip X60 without the stick em and Textreme markings. It has a custom name on the shaft but it's been sanded off and is for the most part illegible. Also has a Bauer warranty hologram serial # sticker on it. Codes on the shaft are:

P106-R (got it, Gagne curve rightie)

87 (yep, 87 flex)

H11 No idea what that means. Anyone have any idea?

I have a retail X60 P91A that looks (aside from the missing markings) and feels identical so I'm confident that's it really is an X60 but you never know. Really want to know what the H11 means.

Thanks

sorry i didn't see what you wrote. no need to get your panties in a bunch over it.

Just do some research before asking. People just get tired answering the same question over when the answer is right there.

flat out wrong.

Exactly. All pro stock gloves I see from Bauer are from China. The only things that seem to come from Canada are skates and goalie gear anymore.
