A couple of Graf questions

Recommended Posts

First, anyone know if the other Ultra stakes are going to get the "x" upgrade, like the G35?

Second, anyone know how much lighter the Ultra skates are than the Supra skates; specifically the Ultra G3 vs. the Supra 703?

i don't know about the 703 vs g3 (because they didn't have my size in the g3), but there was a big difference in weight between the 703 i tried on and the g35 x - even though the g35 is wider and therefore uses more material. this was just me "feeling" the weight of the skates - my hands aren't calibrated but there was a significant difference in weight. part of the difference may be the different holders on the skates. so if you are going to change the holder anyways (as many do with graf), keep this in mind.

I had two pairs of 703's before getting my current pair of G3's. Without a doubt, the G3's are a much better skate. They are a lot lighter, dry much faster, and have performed better for me. They are by far my favorite skate that I've owned.

You are aware that they are essentialy the same skate, just a different fit right? Didn't think so...

Actually....I think he is right...just the updated version of the 703....no?

The Ultra series skates are an updated version of the 700 series indeed.

Which means they fit the same but use more modern materials to reduce weight, dry faster, etc.

A Ultra G3 fits like a 703 and a Ultra G5 like a 705.

The fit of the 703 and G3 is the same.

The G3 is geared towards people who fit into the 703 well.

They're not the same skate though. Very different materials

I wear the Ultra G70s..Probably wont be getting a different skate anytime soon. I'm very happy with them and they are the only pair of skate that I've owned that do not hurt my feet. Thanks to GrafPro55 for putting me in touch w/the right people

That's why I said fit. I never said nor implied the skates were similar in any other way.

It was this post that threw everybody off LOL

It's the exact opposite. They're not essentially the same skate, they're quite different, but they fit similar.
