DarkStar50 679 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks for putting the logo on the helmet because it really looks horrible(trying to say it nicely). I can't wait to see them design a font for the word Easton. Who is loading the gun they are shooting themselves in the foot with?

JR Boucicaut 3805 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 I just spoke to one of the product managers and turned out that my assumption was correct - the "Screaming E" is part of their corporate wordmark as they are consolidating baseball/lax/hockey. The Diamond E will still serve as a secondary logo, but the new E will most likely show up on later designs. I think they'll probably let each product cycle die out with the old logo; as it is their doing, not a forced situation, albeit 18-month timeframe like what Bauer had. Bauer did a good job with almost all of it, got caught with the Supreme stick line however.

It first appeared on the S15 skate/S17 stick, so 4 years ago. It's nothing new; they just added a logo to it.

duch 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2011 It's very simple but the bright yellow makes it stand out. If anything it's be easy to pick up on the tube and be easily recognizable. I like it.
