Easton: Another New Logo?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for putting the logo on the helmet because it really looks horrible(trying to say it nicely). I can't wait to see them design a font for the word Easton. Who is loading the gun they are shooting themselves in the foot with?

I just spoke to one of the product managers and turned out that my assumption was correct - the "Screaming E" is part of their corporate wordmark as they are consolidating baseball/lax/hockey. The Diamond E will still serve as a secondary logo, but the new E will most likely show up on later designs.

I think they'll probably let each product cycle die out with the old logo; as it is their doing, not a forced situation, albeit 18-month timeframe like what Bauer had. Bauer did a good job with almost all of it, got caught with the Supreme stick line however.

So the "Screaming E" isn't a stand-alone logo?

Um, what are you even talking about?

The current Easton wordmark has been around for quite some time now. It first appeared on the S15 skate/S17 stick, so 4 years ago. It's nothing new; they just added a logo to it.

It's very simple but the bright yellow makes it stand out. If anything it's be easy to pick up on the tube and be easily recognizable. I like it.
