2011 Equivalent of CCM Bonk Blade

Recommended Posts

Snapped my blade last night... was an older blade and am just curious what model this would be in the current models available today. Brand doesn't matter, just something similar.

The Bonk CURVE is similar to the Bauer P88 (rockered). The LIE however is another thing in and of itself; the Bonk is a 7 lie! Nothing made by other companies at the moment come in that curve and lie combo.

For future reference you can compare patterns between companies by clicking the Pattern DB button in gthe toolbar.

Hope this helped.

Bauer offers P12 (Kessel) in lie 7, but that's only through bauer ID

does anyone know the actual specs of the bonk blade?

nvm, found it in the DB pattern! Never used that before!

was wondering if someone could school me here... what exactly is the lie and how is a lie of 7 extreme? All I know is this blade was a saucer pass orgy and I could get this up high and hard real fast.

Never used one but It was a mid slightly open curve I think. And the odd thing is that the "old" Reebok crosby was supposedly a lie 7. Coincidence? CCM curve-RbK curve both in a 7 lie?

I think TBLfan was a big fan of this curve as well.

Lie is the degree of distance between the shaft and blade.

For example a 9 lie would be a right angle, thats why 7 is considered very high while most retail curves tend to hover between 4 and 6 lie.
