Ideas on fixing pants

Recommended Posts

I'm trying salvage my Tackla 9000 Pants since they cost me a butt load and they are probably the most comfortable pants ever made. The main issue with them is the splitting on the front thigh area. The cuts aren't real wide just long and thin.

Anyone advice as to how to glue these or stitch them is much appreciated.

I sent a pair in to Toronto Hockey and they did a great job. I had them replace the inner nylon pad covers and also repair many areas of stitching. Mine are the 5000 pro 2-pc pants but I'm sure they'll do a great job on any pant. Only downside was high return shipping cost, but work quality was flawless.

Ill try to post some pictures of the pants tonight. Too Old do you remember how much the actual repairs cost and how long it took?

It was pretty cheap and turnaround time was fast. I think I ended up with around $75 or $80 into repairs and shipping.

I just picked up a speedy stitcher the other day at Ace and it works awesome. Thanks for the advice Flash. It even helped fix the caps on my shoulder pads.
