Underarmor grip shirts wear out?

Do the grip on some underarmor or nike shirts wear out? the ones on the elbow?

I got a UA shirt with grip going strong 3+ years in non-contact hockey.

I have worn THIS ≈ 4 times a week for the past three years, with regular (monthly) washing and not a single one of the 'grippy dots' have fallen off. They are still in top notch shape - no peeling, fading or warping from the dryer.

You wear it 4 times a week and wash it monthly?

I have worn that "tron" UA one 2-3 times a week washing it after every game, and its been in good shape.

They lose a tiny bit of tackiness over time.

Not enough to go buy a new one.

Yep. It just hangs in the locker room during the season, and on my storage rack in the garage during the summer. It gets completely dried after every skate.

If it helps you sleep - I shoot it, along with everything else, with Febreze after every skate.

As with most articles of clothing, keeping it out of the dryer will prolong it's life.

I dont think i ever dry any UA or UA type of clothes, they just dry super quick so i wouldn't bother throwing it in the dryer.

I have to wash mine after every game, that shirt is like pure sweat after.

If you wash them inside out it will help as well.

If you want moisture-wicking materials to work you need to dry them in the dryer
