Pretty sure the Easton Mako helped Mikhail Grabovski of the Leafs, pull a 4 point night against the NY Islanders last night. And let me tell ya, his goal was a thing of beauty!

not so much a gear sighting but something def worth mentioning - when i was at the flyers/bruins game this past sunday a dude was wearing a legit Les Averman mighty ducks jersey - absolutely awesome!

Boyle was using s19 pure graphics earlier this season, and is using rs graphics now. Franzen was using s19 pure graphics too recently iirc.

He used them recently, probably a couple weeks ago. There were a couple up for sale on PSHG last time I checked, that was a bit ago though.

same with Dion Phaneuf i'm not a leafs fan but he is the captain of one of the biggest team and media market. I would push hard on him to use the latest paint job. That said i've seen his pro-stock EQ50 (dunno if real) at the Arena store so he's at least tried them but doesn't like themi guess.

With Phaneuf it's pretty understandable, he's a Reebok athlete, all his other visible equipment (skates, gloves, helmet) is Reebok, they even have a Phaneuf curve, but he just doesn't like their sticks. He uses what he does like, which is an SE16. It's not like he's an Easton athlete, so it's no surprise that he's using an older model that hasn't been repainted.

Ahh so (just thinking aloud here) wouldn't that mean that no one is pushing Phaneuf to use a painted stick? And thus, couldn't it be that he's using a real EQ50 or Mako?
