LS3 steel?

AFAIK you're right, it's just a taller LS2, a pro option.

Its been out for over a year. Its similar to Step Steel. Different profile and not as easy to sharpen as Step but for sure better than LS2. And lasts much longer as well. Should be on all of the Bauer skates in my opinion!

As stated above LS3 is Bauers answer to Step Steel and only available at the college/pro level. With Step Steel slowly starting to take over the hockey steel market Bauer had to do something. While the LS3 may be similar in size Id choose step steel over the Bauer any day of the week. IMO Step sharpens much nicer and holds a edge longer since its made of a better/purer steel then then Bauer.
