i haven't tried TOUR skates yet (should be this friday) but both code tabu and thor EX1 were available here. All i know is that both were top of the line, am i right? So, which one is more durable?

Stay away far, far away from the Tabu. The Tour Tabu was basically a disposable skate, the boot barely lasted 6 months for me before the support went and the boot broke down.

I'd highly recommend the Thor EX1 (if you can make the jump in price to it and they fit, etc.). I've been on the Thor EX1 since November and the boots holding up a thousand times better than the Tabu. The Thor EX1 is without a doubt the best skate of Tours that I've been on and I've been on practically every high end skate they've made.

the tabu= $230 and the EX1 here i got a nice price $300. So jump in price isn't a big deal for me. However is it good for foot with low arch? my current skates is mission commander SE and it hurts my arch if i play for long duration.

I'm in the same boat as you, low arch and I've never felt any discomfort in my arches. The only caveat to that is I never, ever use the footbeds that come w/ skates, I always put in superfeet.

I've just contacted the seller and he don't have EX1 in my size. So my options are between tabu or ZX9. Any info about ZX9?

Couldn't speak about the ZX9, but I would say its a slight step down from the Thor EX1, which probably makes it a really great skate.

Why do you HAVE to get Tour skates? Plenty other high end skates for comparable money :)

Maybe he prefers the all 80 set up.

I have tour Ex1 skates and so far soo good. I Like them but my only complaint is the tongue is showing alot of wear already. Good skate if you can get a good deal but only time will tell how they will last.

Bought my first pair of tours, Zx9, in the summer. Have to say they are great and really comfy. Also not seeing any defects as yet, so I would recommend them.

I previously skated Tour skates for about 10 years. Since the Code 1 skate, there has not been a big advancement in their boots. Especially compared to the technology of other boots. Tour always has the same problem with the toe cap coming off! Plus they take about 6 hours of foot torture to break in! I am skating Mission T10's now and they were game ready out the box! Im sorry to leave Tour , but they just aren't as advanced as other brands.
