rizwhiz29 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 I am trying to find a pair of Daoust 501 Titanium, 501 or the newer 555 Gold size 10 or 10.5. I would prefer a new pair but would be very interested in a used pair as well. If anyone has some suggestions on how to find, I would appreciate it.

Monty22 835 Report post Posted September 14, 2012 I would put "want" ads on every hockey related board I can think of, scour play it again sports type places and Ebay, and maybe call somewhere like Peranis who may have a few NOS kicking around a warehouse. Drummer829 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2012 Personally, I would not recommend used skates. Not everyones feet are the same and the support could be shot, need new steel or holders, or other problems. The Daousts are like skating with bricks on your feet. Even the cheap new Bauers are so much lighter than those.First off, find your size. go to your local hockey store and find your exact size. Depending on how many times you skate per week should be the type of skates you get. Second, understand how much you will be using them. If you are only skating 1-2 times per week, you should be fine with a pair of new skates for around $100-$150. Just try on different brands to find whats most comfortable. I think that was all from the "lost" warehouse.
