Glove Repairs

Recommended Posts

I have an old pair of retail Warrior Franchise gloves.

I would like to add in plastic inserts, and new palm. (possibly gussets)

Do you know where I can send my gloves to get the repairs?

Thanks

When I was in juniors, I had a local shop that repaired shoes and boots do all my repairs and modifications. They had the tools to get the job done. Gloves always looked great, and the modifications lasted as long as the factory work.

If you can find someone willing/able to add inserts, it would be cheaper to buy new gloves. As for the other stuff, there are a ton of topics on repalming and repairing of gloves.

Like Chadd mentioned, if you did find someone that was willing/able to add inserts, it would be cheaper to buy new gloves that actually have inserts. The costs of adding inserts would most likely be very expensive; thus you could buy a new pair that already has inserts. As for as repairs, you can try the following links:

I have had handfuls of gloves done by peaches. Hes always was very reluctant to do mesh gussets or any kind of new gussets. He always tells me that it changes the feel of the glove drastically plus is very time consuming and tedious work. Although he can put a set palms in with record time though and zero mistakes.

Your probably not going to find anyone willing to do plastic inserts.

I've had George's Hockey Repair (www.hockeyrepair.com) add mesh gussets to a couple of pairs. they never hassled me about it and always got the work done in a few days.

I agree with the others that you'll probably have to give up the dream of plastic inserts though. that's not really an "add it later" kind of service.
