New Elbow Pad Recommendation

Recommended Posts

I had s13's with that x lock system. IMO those were the worst strapping system. I use the RBK/Jofa branded stuff now and they work perfect. I also have a set of the Reebok 10K's (now the Reebok 9k) and the strapping system on those are pretty good. They fit nice and snug. I agree with Danno, you might have to try a smaller size as well.

Yah I thought it would be good but turned out to be worse and just cause it to fall easier. I have mediums and they are very tight. I don't think size is the issue but I'll see if a small would fit. I'll chek the RBk tomorrow thanks for the suggestion

I was actually really impressed with the Easton EQ30s (I think?) I saw in the store a few weeks back. Nice soft elbow with no huge bump like most elbow pads have for some reason these days. Fit well, too.

However, with all the endorsements I'm seeing here, I think I may pick of a pair of Projekts instead. They do look really nice :)

The Reebok 4Ks ive been wearing felt nice in the store, but I'm finding them to not be especially comfortable while playing.

Ordered a set of Warrior Franchise in Large received them today and...they do not fit! Or I should say the pad fits but the forearm pad/strap is about 2 inches from the velcro. :/

Sucks! The E700 helmet I got also did not fit! At least the visor that showed up is solid!

Anyone try the new Easton RS elbows? They look like they might be slim? I definitely don't like bulky elbow pads, especially where they meet the glove cuff.

these are available now? They did look slim in the catalogue

I have the RBK 7K with the bottoms cut a little they are a tad on the big size if your in a non hitting league but you still have great mobility in them regardless.

For me, nothing beats the Sher-Wood 5030s. They're light, and flexible. I hate bulk and have never been able to get used to the 2 and 3 piece pads most guys have. I've had my current pair for years and I've only recently started thinking about replacing them with a new pair. The elastic is all worn out and I've finally started feeling the last few falls I've taken. I did try out a pair of Warrior Koncepts and they were really nice. They were also light and flexible. I just don't like the feeling of a big bicep pad, so I scrapped them and went back to my Sher-woods.

For a non hitting league the cheap Easton S3's I have are great. I got the soft ones for 17.00 Seriously, I was offered some pro stocks the other day and didn't want em because of the size. I don't want the extra bulk that I don't need for the league I am in...

I had a pair of Jofas that I stopped wearing this year once I saw how much they could sell for. Decided it would be best to not add anymore wear in case I need some cash..anybody I went out and got the 9k's and 11k's. I like them both, not much difference from one fo the next so the 11k's are my game time elbows and the 9k's are for practice. I tried on almost every modern elbow out there and couldn't get any of them to stay properly on my arm but I do have a funky arm size.
