Mission M2 more durable than Easton Ultra Lite?

Recommended Posts

From what i've been reading, the Ultra Lite is an absolute tank and one of the most durable shafts on the market. On Missions website they say that the M2 shaft had higher ratings on durability tests and whatnot than "2 of the top leading shafts from the leading shaft manufacturer". I heard that the 2 sticks Mission is referring to is the Easton Ultra Lite and Z-Bubble, so is it right for me to assume that the M2 is a more durable shaft than the Ultra Lite?

Also, i've got another question. Is the TPS Tkachuk blade pattern an identical clone of the Easton Modano pattern?

Thanks

I am not sure if the M-2 is more durable but they should be similar. The Tkachuk and Modano aren't exact clones, but they are close

The thachuk is similar to the modano, but i think it has a longer blade with a squared toe.

the ones I've seen have a round toe.

Ditto. If you're thinking about the Tkachuk pattern, pick up the TPS Pro Stock blades...

EDIT: As for durability, if the M-2 is any more durable than the Ultra Lite (if at all), I doubt you will notice a difference. It definitely won't be like night and day. Stick with the UL, it's tried, tested and true.

I was looking at the Modo and the Tkachuk pattern while i was at work and they are similar, but it seems like the Tkachuk is a little more of a mid curve and it is a tad longer.
