Pro mhp7000 pant question

Recommended Posts

I happen to have both of these and the answer is sort of. Most of the buttons line up but not all of them. The hip pads will overlap a little with the thigh pads. The 7000 has no lace holes in the lowers and the 520 only has 1 lace hole in the uppers so you won't really be able to tie them. The 7000s are also a little tighter fitting than the 520s so that may affect how they fit you and your own concept of comfort. The good news is the 7000 lowers do have a belt so you can draw them closed. This is just what I noticed from putting them together for about 5 minutes. I never attempted playing with them together.

Do me a favor and just continue the threads you have created; you keep on creating a new thread when you have a question about the same pant.

I just found THREE of your topics (all posted in the last 3 days) and merged them into THIS thread.

I too would be interested...I own a pair of MHP7000 lowers and want to know what RBK upper would fit best. I am assuming I would need a M upper, but just want to know if anyone has an idea as to which would be the best fit. Thanks!

It's easier to marry-up smaller uppers with larger lowers that it is the other way around. For what it's worth you'll be able to marry-up the majority of two-piece pants of the same size with varying degree's of success. For example, you might well need to make your own button holes for a perfect fit. Some will work better than others, I myself have gone through plenty of trial and error with this exact subject.

I own a pair of RBK MHP7000 pants, I have successfully married-up the L uppers with XL Bauer lowers (baggy fit), and less successfully XL Reebok-branded MHP520 XL and Jofa MHP7000 lowers (tight fit).

In my experience I would say that RBK MHP7000's and Bauer two-piece pants fit on the large side, whereas MHP520's and Jofa MHP7000's both fit small.

I cannot comment on Easton or Tackla lowers, for me these are an unknown quantity.

Thanks for replying...little confused, are you saying that you think that M RBK 520 Uppers may not marry well with M RBK MHP7000 Lowers?
